About the Artist:

U.S.-born Ukrainian American Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak completed her undergraduate art studies at Kent State University, and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She is a recipient of numerous grants and honors, including a Creative Artist Program Award in Visual Art from the Cultural Arts Council of Houston. A resident of Texas, she has participated in U.S. and international exhibitions (U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Ukraine), and her work can be found in museum and private collections.
